The Bittersweetness of Winter

Winter has always been a bittersweet season for me. For most of my life, until recently, I’ve considered myself a “summer” person. During my childhood, summer meant being outside all day long. To this day I prefer the outdoors to the indoors and being in movement rather than being sedentary.
